With the long sustained spring weather, a month of clear skies, some great flying has been done. Most recently we saw one of our members enjoying a great day with his large extra. Here is the video of the proceedings!
Thanks to social secretary Sarah for arranging an enjoyable visit to the museum. Sarah : We 14 members had a very enjoyable visit to the Aviation & Military Museum in Castletown. A great guided tour by Ivor Ramsden👍. Certainly worth a visit or two. Steve and I were sad we did not have enough time…
A few of us met on the runway for spicy rum, pigs and blankets and mince pics. Oh there was also some flying and crashing, our featured model, the Corsair is no longer with us RIP Corsair.
The was a very successful glider competition at Jurby Airfield. This involved flying and landing for points. Winner Under 2M – Russ Machin Winner Over 2M – Steve Woodley.
