Training

We have a club trainer and a buddy box for those who wish to learn to fly or simply take a test flight.

Occasionally a 2nd hand setup can be obtained for as little as £100. Getting started generally requires a 4 channel transmitter and model aircraft. These can be either petrol, glow or electric motors. A new set up could cost you £250, for a new transmitter, model and batteries.

We are fortunate to have a BMFA examiner in the club, who can examine and give certification up to BMFA level B.

Please contact the club for details.
